Austria can look forward to a springlike weekend: lots of sunshine and temperatures reaching up to 19°C, according to Geosphere Austria on Thursday.

Weather in Vienna (Friday)

High pressure will dominate on Friday, bringing mostly sunny conditions.

Morning fog may appear locally.
Saharan dust could slightly dim the sunshine, especially in western regions.
Winds remain light.
Highs: 12–18°C.

Saturday

Morning fog patches will dissolve by late morning, followed by sunshine across the entire country.

The sky may appear slightly hazy due to Saharan dust, especially in the west.
Highs: 12–19°C.

Sunday

After the last bits of local fog clear, the day starts sunny and dry.

Later, a weak disturbance will bring clouds from the west, spreading from Vorarlberg and Tyrol toward Upper Austria and East Tyrol by evening.
Eastern Austria will only see thin high clouds, with sunshine still dominant.
Winds from the east to south will pick up in Lower Austria, Vienna, and Styria.
Morning temperatures: –3 to +4°C
Highs: 10–16°C.

Winds stay mostly light, except along the eastern Alps and lowlands where they may pick up from the southeast to south.
